Your questions about the PAPER & TEA London Fog

What is a London Fog?

A London Fog is a creamy latte-style tea made with Earl Grey. It combines black tea with delicate bergamot, frothed milk and a hint of vanilla. The result is a comfortingly aromatic drink that calls to mind a gentle, misty morning.

Is a London Fog just Earl Grey with milk?

Not quite. A classic London Fog is made with Earl Grey, milk (or an alternative), a touch of sweetness and vanilla flavour. These extra components give the drink its distinctively creamy, lightly fragrant character – it’s more than “just” tea with milk.

How do I make English tea?

For traditional English tea, black tea is brewed with hot water (around 90–95 °C) and left to steep for 2–4 minutes. It is often finished with a splash of milk. The tea can be lightly sweetened to taste.

What is special about Earl Grey tea?

Earl Grey is defined by its natural bergamot aroma – a citrus fruit that gives the tea its characteristically fresh, elegant and slightly floral note. This balance makes Earl Grey one of the most iconic and versatile black teas of all.
